How to find us
By car
St. Michael and the Lungau are connected perfectly to the Austrian and international transport network via the Tauern motorway A 10 (90 km from Salzburg), the Tauern-Katscherg main road 99 and the romantic Holzstraße (B 96) through the Murtal. From the motorway it is about 2,5 km to the Wastlwirt**** Romantik- & Genusshotel, even the other through-roads pass the hotel at a safe distance.
By train
If you would like to arrive by train, you have regular bus services from Salzburg main stationto St. Michael or use the shuttle service Bacher or Wastlwirt - from Salzburg, Klagenfurt or Spittal. Timetable information: DB (Deutsche Bahn/ German Railways), ÖBB (Österreichische Bundesbahn/ Austrian Federal Railways).
Autozug (car train) services
To Schwarzach/St. Veit and Villach are provided by the DB and the ÖBB .
By plane
Cheap flights are available at expedia.com to the airports of Salzburg and Klagenfurt. For flight guests to Salzburg we can arrange a shuttle service to the hotel or we book a taxi for the airports of Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Vienna. Please ask the reception-team for help.
