RAUCHKUCHL COOKING EXPERIENCE
Enter the Wastlwirt world of experience for gourmets! In keeping with the Austrian gourmet region of Lungau, regional typical specialities are especially served on the table: Meat and milk from appropriately raised animals, cheese and butter from the farm and the organic farm, berries and mushrooms from our woods or aromatic herbs from the garden. Vegetarians may but together a tasty menu from the range of the Rauchkuchl or the dishes of our country house kitchen. Children's menu, brunch, snack and menus for seniors supplement the offer.
Gourmets can look
forward to fresh eggs or pancakes for breakfast in our unique Lungau Rauchkuchl,
which the chef prepares à la minute. At the romantic evening
cooking show on the open fire of the Rauchkuchl,
local delicacies and sophisticated creations of our
chef are prepared in front of your eyes. Also selected
delicacies such as shrimps or Crêpes Suzette as a delight to
the palate belong to the culinary fireworks , which
we light daily for lovers of sophisticated food and
beverage.
TRADITIONAL LUNGAU PARLOURS
Our Lungau parlours are unique for the region of the Alps in the south of the Salzburg province. Each is different, each unique, each reflects Lungau tradition and Wastlwirt history. In the „Markterstube“ (market trader's room) and the „Bauernstube“ (farmhouse room) the ancient vaults are still preserved, in the „Alten Kuchlstuben“ (old kitchen room) the grandmother of Rudi Baier was standing at the stove, in the „Bürgerstube“ locals and guests still meet today at the large Stammtisch (regular's table).
