FEAST HEARTILY
Food and drink keep body and soul together - says an old proverb. Typical regional dishes and specialities from Austria brings joy to both heart and palate. From the generous breakfast buffet to the multi-course dinner from our traditional Rauchkuchl up to the romantic dinner, the high-quality, fresh food of the highest quality from local farms plays a major role.
We do not have a dining room, the table is laid in the cosy Lungau parlours, in the garden, in the hotel restaurant and in one of our romantic cellars . Enjoy a good meal with Austrian wines from our own wine cellar, our own „Wastlbräu“ or locally produced fine distilled spirits from our brandy cellar.
In the Wastlwirt you can feast heartily and with relish. We have in fact increased the usual half-board for „Wastlwirt pleasure board“ (see box on the right) - with many extras for which you do not have to pay extra.
On the table there is always cool, crystal clear mountain spring water from our own spring, a basket with daily fresh bread baked in a wood-fired oven and delicious cheese spread.
